The deadline for Copenhagen Games is approaching and teams will have to hurry up if they wish to participate in Denmark's biggest event.
With the last invite for the main tournament going out this week, the organizers of Copenhagen Games have now issued a news post stating that teams will have to hurry up, if they wish to participate.
"We don't have much space left", says the news, stating that close to 800 PC- and 250 console gamers are signed up for the event. The organizers will clean the participants list this weekend, removing teams with less than four members and no payment, as well as single players that have not paid yet.
For teams and player who have already paid, the news explains the following:
If you have already signed and paid, you don't need to worry.
If you do not have the overview of your team, then please check out the participant list, and make sure all members have signed up.
If you have not yet paid your participation fee, than please take care of this ASAP.
Only by paying your fee, can you secure your spot for this year's biggest esports event.
The organizers encourage teams who are not coming to send a cancellation mail, which can be done via the Copenhagen Games support page.
Copenhagen Games will run April 4-8 and will feature 20,000€ prize purse for Counter-Strike 1.6, a tournament the Polish team now known as ESC Gaming won last year by beating SK Gaming in the final.
